Smile, For it is Clean & Simple

Hi Creative friends,

I am back with another Card post, As you all know I am just a beginner in Card making and surfing over the net, I found a technique  of card making called “Clean & Simple”.  It basically means having loads and loads of negative/white space in your card! Its such a pretty technique!!

So here is my first CAS card

I used the hero arts Clear Delicate Blossom stamp for the flower, and Itsy bitsy stamps for butterfly and Sentiment.

Next Used TCW stencils to bring that hexagon in the background using distress ink, giving it a geometric element.

Finally used distress ink, sticking to warm colors to color and bring the Autumn watercolor feel to the cards.cas-cardcas-card

With this little beauty I am entering into following challenges:

Less is More #298 Theme Spiders or Insects

A Blog named Hero Geometric Challenge

  2. Hello hun, first off many thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a lovely comment because of seeing me on CWS. I decided to return the favour and so happy I did. Your card is beautiful and I would never have guessed you were a beginner because you have created a very pretty mixed media card Karen x

  4. Welcome to the world of CAS creations. And well done at creating a one layer card too, they are not easy. Love the pretty scene and the pink/yellow colour combo is really refreshing.
