Hello there
I know I have been MIA for quite some tym. Actually we went on a Family vacation to “GOA”, its a beautiful beach state of India.. and apart from beautiful beaches, it has loads of Church’s/Chapels and cafes…in short.. It was awesome 🙂
So moving on to our today’s post… It’s a Card… Guys I am such a beginner at card making,I have been doing mix media’s for quite some tym, but cards have never interested me until few days back… and now I am trying my hands on cards as well… SO presenting to you My very first Card
I used a regular Card stock as base, and Sprayed it with Lindy’s Moon shadow mists/Flat Fabios and Starburst mist to give a nice shimmery look to the background..And being so fond of colors.. I poured my heart out with my favorite colors 😀
Next I took a stamp set having butterfly, and stamped randomly using Archival ink. To create the top layer of butterflies, I took another card stock, painted it using various distress ink’s and stamped all over it with the butterfly stamp. Then to bring out the butterfly embellishment’s, I fussy cut the butterflies coated them with Glass bead medium and stuck them to the original background using Foam stick’s.. To bring that 3D effect.
Finally I stamped some emotions randomly and it was all set to flaunt! This card was quite a simple project and the best part was it energized me to explore more of Card making. So I am quite happy with the outcome.
With this beautiful 1st attempt at card making, I would love to enter the bellow challenges
Virginia’s View Challenge #24 ,
